Luxury with Meaning
I created Maison DORAMS from a deeply personal place — a desire to honour the women who shaped me and to rewrite what luxury can mean.
My mother is from the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo — a region known for breathtaking beauty and unimaginable strength, but also for the suffering and injustice women have endured for generations. Growing up, I watched these women rise above unthinkable circumstances with quiet resilience and unbreakable dignity. Their courage became my greatest inspiration.
At DORAMS, every jewel is born from this story. Each design begins with a symbol — an emblem of freedom, survival, and self-expression. Our iconic Mukaji Pendant, for instance, carries the raised fist of the Congolese woman: strong, hopeful, and unstoppable. It honours the matriarchs who built legacies in silence and the women who refuse to be defined by hardship.

For us, true luxury isn’t loud — it’s purposeful.
Every DORAMS piece is crafted with intention: to be worn as a celebration of identity, independence, and heritage. We create modern heirlooms — jewels that feel deeply personal and yet timeless enough to pass from one generation to the next.
We work in 18k solid gold and thick gold vermeil over sterling silver, marrying exceptional craftsmanship with ethical sourcing and sustainability. Our artisans bring each sketch to life with precision and respect for the story it carries. We produce in small, deliberate editions to preserve rarity and honour the women who wear our pieces.
Rooted in Heritage
The soul of Maison DORAMS lives in its Congolese roots. We reimagine cultural artistry — ancient motifs, protective symbols, and the silent power of Congolese women — into contemporary, wearable art. Each jewel is a bridge: between past and present, pain and triumph, ancestry and the future.
Our name, DORAMS, comes from Doram — “generation.” It speaks to what we build: a legacy that endures beyond us.

"One might say that DORAMS has been over 20 years in the making. My fascination with jewellery has been a lifelong journey—a passion, perhaps even a calling. From early on, I knew jewellery would be my chosen language, a way to express myself through style and bring depth to every outfit.
The concept of DORAMS is to create more than just jewellery; we forge symbols of freedom and choice. As a woman from the Democratic Republic of Congo, I have been inspired by the resilience and grace of Congolese women who rise with strength and dignity, no matter the challenges they face. Their spirit and the rich cultural heritage of my homeland have shaped my vision for DORAMS—a brand that embodies empowerment and self-expression.
In creating DORAMS, I aimed to give a voice to women everywhere—a space where elegance is redefined on their own terms, where luxury feels personal, and where each piece reflects the freedom every woman deserves. DORAMS is my homage to the indomitable spirit of women, celebrating their right to express individuality with boldness and beauty, just as the courageous women of the DRC do every day.
