Gold as Legacy

Across generations, Congolese women have preserved wealth in gold, not as decoration, but as security, dignity, and silent power. Maison DORAMS continues this tradition through sculptural high jewelry designed to endure lifetimes.

A monumental bracelet inspired by ancestral architecture and the strength of Congolese design traditions.

The Founder

Maison DORAMS was founded by Doriane Kanguvu.

Raised within a Congolese cultural tradition where gold symbolizes stability, heritage, and dignity, she envisioned a jewellery house that would preserve those values through contemporary design.

Her vision was simple:

To create jewels that are not only beautiful, but meaningful.

"My mother is from the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo, a region known for breathtaking beauty and unimaginable strength, but also for the suffering and injustice women have endured for generations. Growing up, I watched these women rise above unthinkable circumstances with quiet resilience and unbreakable dignity. Their courage became my greatest inspiration. I created Maison DORAMS from a deeply personal place, a desire to honour the women who shaped me."
